My stay was 24th - 27th December. Prior to my stay, the hotel staff team responded quickly to my enquiries about bar and restaurant opening times during the Christmas bank holidays. Upon arrival, the staff team were very accommodating and friendly. We arrived by train with bikes and were moved to a ground floor room to make storing and using our bikes easier, which we really appreciated 🙏😊 I booked a dockside room with a view of the River Mersey which I enjoyed - until the mist descended on Boxing Day! 😆 It was lovely to look out at the view when having my morning cuppa and relaxing in the hotel room. Our room was clean and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay including a kettle to make hot drinks, bath & shower, hairdryer and good heating and ventilation. The hotel is centrally located for visiting family and local attractions and enough distance away from city centre bars and clubs to be quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep The hotel has a really pleasant, spacious bar with an outdoor seating area with a painted mural, fairy lights and a view of the River Mersey. The light breakfast and full English breakfast options were both good and set us up for an active day. The breakfasts also had vegetarian, gluten free and decaf options available. Check in and check out was quick and efficient and hotel staff were always available when we needed anything. A thoroughly enjoyable stay over Christmas. Thank you to all of the staff team. We’re looking forward to returning for our New Year’s Eve visit to Liverpool 🥳

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the docks and museums, a McDonald's and KFC just over the road, 20 min walk to the town centre, the hotel was clean but a little tired in places, the staff are friendly and welcoming. We stored our suitcase there on the last day very cheaply at £3.50 and collected it on our way back to the station. I noticed the flix bus stops opposite the hotel. Taxi from the station was just short of £9

Bray

Close to dock area and plenty of activity, thing to do without using car. Can catch a bus close by or visit touring bus which is 10 mins walk to 1st point. Room was large and spacious with good size bathroom with basic things I require and very clean. Easily slept like a log. 101 room but no lift so if you are disabled make sure u request the floor ground. Breakfast was fabulous, clean and spacious dining room cross with bar.

On site parking was a big plus when so many hotels in or near the city centre require off site parking. This makes a big difference to your trip. Having a bathroom that can accommodate an adult was also a big plus, so many hotels squeeze the space for a bathroom so much it gets claustrophobic. Maybe I should have started with this, the staff were amazing. Very friendly, always accommodating, helpful and gave great service.
